Had lunches and dinners several times, with colleagues and family here. Best Asian restaurants in town. Although Tacoma is lack of authentic Chinese restaurants, there are a few good ones of Japanese and Koreans. And Pho Dragon is probably the best Vietnamese in even Great Seattle area. The only reason I gave 4 stars (instead of 5) is because the all Pho noodle soups here taste a little different from other Vietnamese Pho restaurants. Not saying it is not good, just after eating in some many other Pho restaurants, I am not used to the soup yet (probably the southern-style ph other than a clear broth you see normally in the Seattle). However, all other dishes are so good that I had never seen in other Vietnamese restaurants. It changed my idea about Vietnamese food, that it is not just Pho and spring rolls. Anyway, it is supposed to have more varieties of cuisine and cooking style as I want to try Asian food. Surprisingly, you will get a big bowl with a super-deal price (as we heard the cooking mom is very much enjoying the work and had not raised the price for years). And if you start liking this style of Pho noodle soup, give it 5-star !

Updated: So went back recently, food still hasn't really changed to what I remembered. But this place needs to consider cleaning it up and get rid of what I think were roaches. Flies and ants, I can deal with that and is common among any restaurant really, but these roaches... Nah. That alone impacted me to where I felt I needed to change my score. *shivers. Originally posted (4 stars): The red marinade they use for their grilled pork for any of their dishes, including the sandwich, is good. Even if I don't order a sandwich, I will always order a dish with that grilled pork.

Wife and I stopped here before grabbing some groceries in the Asian market. It's a little hole in the wall but food is good. She loved her Pho and my Bun Thit Nuong was tasty!

Great food. Others say it's the best around. I think they're using thao (black/false cardamom) and potentially ox tail or fattier cuts of beef. It's all about preference. but it is really good. I will be back

I don't know what to say about this one. We split a pho and a plate on our first and only time there. The food was good when we were done eating we noticed bugs on a window and wall. Ants would not have been anything to worry about, but these were the kind of bugs you don't appreciate knowing that they're walking around freely in the place that cooks the food you eat. This alone makes me wish I had the option to give NO STARS.
